These hard drive belong to me and I should have access to it from any where I want. So these hard drive are only accessible from WD enclosure which is very bad. I have another hardware plugins which can be used to access data, I connected the hard drive, it is detected by my computer but it asked to initialize and format the data due to some logic WD put on the hard drive. I have the hard drive and I can’t access the data. I tried their support but without any reply from them. The biggest problem was when the enclosure failed out of no where and now I don’t have access to my data. So at least once every day you have to restart your computer. Suddenly it won’t be detected by your os and you have to restart.

This is yet another deception to receive recertified drives after a replacement of a 6 month old $600 product. They sent me back a new enclosure but the drives inside are RECERTIFIED white labeled Red drives.
